White Spotted Spinefoot ( Siganus canaliculatus )
This is one species of spine foot or Rabbitfish which is well known in Cebu and throughout the country. It is locally called Danggit (pronounced dung-geet). These are a relatively small fish that can be found around the coastlines and reefs scavenging and feeding on algae.

Fishing The Philippines 
i remember back home in batangas, we used to fish for that rabbit fish using a skinny kind of bamboo which we calle anus and using a 2 lb. test line and size 16-14 beak hook. we use banana (saba) as bait. in batangas we call that kuyog.
