  1. hi ben. mang roger said that fish is called torsilyo and it resembles the albacore tuna but this are small ones. ^_^ fish on! jay-r here.

  2. hi ben.
by its looks i would say those in the first picture are called ‘pak-an’ in bisaya and ‘mangko-mangko’ in our dialect.
i am not very sure, though, because our species appear to be slimmer, but they look identical but for the form.
    good catch,

  9. Hi Ben, nice catch. Wish i could also catch one like that in oue coming event. By the way Ben, l’m not really a professional angler, but i’ve been to a lot of fishing with my friends before and i love it so much. Come Jan 4, will be my first deep sea fishing experience and i feel so excited about it. Can you please give me some recommendations on what kind of line and hooks, baits that i can bring on our coming fishing event? Does it make a lot of difference than the common seaside fishing?

    Thanks and regards.
    Omet
